Arabella

Happy New year friends!

I hope you are having an amazing start to 2020.

Today is my first day back working on Lilt Blog for the year and I’m swinging in wearing one of my fave buys from last year.

Yellow Bells

It’s going to reach 39 degrees today and 41 later this week… that means its time to seriously bring out all the summer dresses!

Today’s bold Yellow Bells Dress is by local label Obus. Lightweight cotton in an eye-catching floral print that can be as easily worn during the day to a picnic in the park as it can in the balmy evenings to watch live music at a night market. All things I plan to do this summer!

Riya

Relaxed luxury can be a difficult think to obtain. However, if there is someone who knows how to do it (and well) it’s Megan Park.

I’ve felt so lucky to collaborate with the brand over the past few weeks, and have learnt so much about Megan’s, ethics, inspirations and spirited history (more on that in an upcoming designer profile…so stay tuned).

Cascais

It’s nearly time for holidays to start for a lot of us, and the thought of time off has got me inspired by the promise of travel.

Although I won’t be heading overseas during my summer break, I have definitely been inspired by faraway places when it comes to my fashion.
The more colour, pattern and summer vibes the better.

What I particularly adore about today’s feature designer, Megan Park is that her designs are always inspired by many different cultures, travel, worldly design and craftsmanship in general.

In Love with Spring Separates

Once upon a time I was strictly a ‘dresses only’ gal. Purely out of ease really, as it is so simple to throw on just one piece of clothing  in the morning.  However as I become more adventurous with colour and pattern in my wardrobe I also become aware that I require pieces that are versatile and can be mixed and matched easily.  The most efficient way to do this is ofcourse with separates.

Blogger Profile – The Fashion Advocate

Claire Goldsworthy of The Fashion Advocate is much more than ‘a blogger’.  She is a positive change maker, an avid clothes lover, an advocate for ethical fashion, a conscious consumer and a kick-ass Boss Lady.

This year The Fashion Advocate was the winner of the ‘2019 Good Design Fashion Impact Award’. In past years Claire has also been ranked in the ‘World’s Top 75 Sustainable, Ethical and Slow Fashion blogs’, ‘Australia’s Top 50 Influencers’, and she was also a finalist in last years ‘Women’s Weekly Women of The Future’.  – Told you, kick ass lady…

Maiden Check

When I said I was obsessed with checks, tartans and plaids at the moment I wasn’t kidding….

Today’s bright, bold and happy outfit is brought to you, courtesy of one of my favourite boutique Australian labels, Milk & Thistle.
I’ve enthusiastically become a very big fan of Milk & Thistle, who design and make all their quality, easy fit garments in Australia.
