Lilt Blog – August, September & October 2018

Wowee…. the past few months have been a whirlwind.
So much so that I’ve had hardly any time to blog (it’s been nearly 2 months).

Since my last post, Lilt Blog turned 6, I raised over $800 for Liptember (thanks to your wonderful donations), I went to London on a work trip, Started my first stint of public speaking and have been working A LOT! Here’s a little snippet of what else has been going on through my eyes on Instagram!

Liptember 2018

And just like that it’s September! Can you believe it?

This month I am once again looking forward to taking part in Liptember, a campaign dedicated to educating the community on women’s mental health, whilst raising funds towards specific women’s mental health research and support programs.

I had so much fun participating last year, and raised over $600 for the cause. So this year I am upping the ante, and aiming to raise $700 as my goal!

Just as I did last year, I will be wearing a different shade of lipstick everyday this month to gain funds and support programs such as The Centre of Women’s Mental Health, Lifeline Australia, Batyr, RUOK?, The Jean Hailes Foundation and The Pretty Foundation.

I will be posting my feature lippy each day over on my InstaStories, and also touch on some of the great beneficiaries of this event. So please make sure you come and follow me on Instagram at @luci_lilt_blog to follow my Liptmeber journey.

Crabtree & Evelyn – New Lifestyle Mists

Scent is such a strong sense and can instantly take you down memory lane or transform your space and mood in the present moment.

There is nothing I love more than taking the time to unwind after a long week of work, and scent is definitely part of this process.

Whether I want to feel refreshed and uplifted, or rebalanced and relaxed, scent is a perfect way to enjoy the experience, and ensure that I am making the most of my precious time off.

The Denim Jacket

If you will believe it, next month will be spring, and I rather enjoy getting ready for the new seasons by investing in some transitional pieces. Especially classic pieces that I have been coveting for a while and I know will last a long time in my wardrobe.

Designer Profile – Aacute

I’m always on the lookout for interesting and unique local designers! It’s one of my favourite things to do. I totally Insta-stalk brands that I like the look of (just being honest), and I’ve been doing that with Aacute for a few years now.

Now a days it’s easy to find young designers spruiking polymer clay and resin jewellery, they are a dime a dozen. But it is harder to find ones that are pushing the boundaries of the medium and creating pieces that are unique, fun, and stylish.
