Taking Stock

Given that we’re in the last few days of July, I wanted to start the week by taking a minute to stop and check in with Pip Lincolne’s ‘taking stock’ list.

Trawling: op shops for one-off treasures
Wanting: more hours in the day
Looking: forward to watching ‘Snow White’ at the ballet with The Fashion Advocate
Deciding: whether to chop my hair or grow it long (what do you think I should do?)
Wishing: winter would hurry up and be over
Enjoying: pilates
Waiting: for the pilates to take affect 😛
Liking: being back on the blog
Wondering: how many days til Christmas (Can you believe it’s nearly August?)
Loving: stand up comedy on Netflix
Pondering: if stand up comics get nervous before they go on stage
Listening: to heaps of audio books (any suggestions?)
Considering: a holiday to Japan (have you been? Any tips?)
Buying: property…hopefully
Watching: Orange is the New Black
Hoping: for some warmer days
Marvelling: at the beauty of The Grampians
Cringing: at fakeness (always)
Needing: more time to unwind
Questioning: the steps ahead
Smelling: like … I need new perfume
Wearing: Aussie labels!
Noticing: the little (but important) things
Knowing: things will turn out ok in the end
Thinking: still…of starting a YouTube channel, or maybe IGTV (will you watch?)
Admiring: all of the strong and amazing women in my life
Getting: ready for some dancing this weekend
Bookmarking: great camping spots to explore
Opening: new and exciting doors
Closing: old accounts thanks to the Barefoot Investor
Feeling: like a big karaoke session
Hearing: people’s stories
Celebrating: 15 years with my man Grange
Pretending: I’m not old enough to have been together with Grange for 15 years
Embracing: the second half of this year (bring it on!)
