Lucille

It’s no big secret that I am a big fan of dresses. I pretty much wear dresses every single day. I find them flattering, comfortable and so easy to just slip on and get on with my day. However, as the cold weather hits, styling dresses with other warmer items is a must!

Peacock Bloom

Just the other day someone described me as ‘girly’ and it kind of took me by surprise. I’ve never really considered myself ‘girly’. I grew up kicking soccer balls, and digging up rocks in my back yard so I never really identified myself with such an adjective. However when I think about it, I really love make up, skincare, fashion and especially dresses! So I suppose that in a way, yes, I am kind of ‘girly’.

2+1=3

I’ve been so excited to write this post for months now! Amongst everything that the start of 2020 has brought for everyone, Grange and I got the magical news that we’re expecting a precious little baby in November. A little addition to our family is something we’ve been looking forward to and we cannot wait to meet him/her.

Magnolia

Every once in a while you can put on a dress that makes you feel truly magical, and the Magnolia Dress by Mia Sully is definitely in this category.

It’s not often that you’ll see me wearing white, but when I do, it’s elegant statement pieces that will also stand the test of time in my wardrobe. Mia Sully is a local and independent fashion designer who creates minimum and mindful clothing, and that makes every one of her garments all that more special.

Designer Profile – Tara Whalley

I had the pleasure of meeting Tara Whalley last year, and was super stoked when she asked me to take part in a photoshoot for her recent clothing collection. Modelling alongside a mix of gorgeous and interesting women was a blast. I’d even say it was one of my favourite blogging moments of last year, and more so because the energy at the shoot was a direct reflection of Tara herself. Colourful, lively and optimistic.

Tara is a Melbourne based clothing and textile designer. Her prints are hand painted and explore plant life, exciting keepsakes and places and are always produced with plenty of colour.

Blogger Profile – Sunkissed Sundays

I’ve said it once, twice, and I’ll probably say it a million times again. The best bit of blogging is getting to meet interesting people doing fun and creative things.

I love my interview series because it gives you a chance to see behind the curtain. To get a sneak peek into the lives of artists and designers, but I also love chatting to other bloggers as we all have such different platforms and work on projects differently.

It’s interesting to find out what motivates other local bloggers to create their content.
