I’ve been following the Tahlo journey for a few years now, stalking their colourful Instagram feed for style inspiration, but it’s only in the past year that I’ve had the pleasure of wearing their gorgeous designs.
Around 6 months after Jeanie was born, designer Sophie contacted me to kindly offer me a couple of pieces after listening to an Instagram story I posted discussing how my style had changed dramatically after becoming a mum, and how I desperately needed to update my tops and pants situation.
Her kind and thoughtful action sincerely touched my heart. In the daily grind of early motherhood, as I learned to take care of my baby and myself I lost my usual style confidence, and her pieces helped to not only make me feel special and a little made up, but also brought some much needed style to my everyday life.
Now, a year later, I still wear these two beautiful custom made pieces in a variety of ways. Both the silk joggers and custom made top have been designed and made with comfort, functionality and style in mind and can be worn casually and formally (of which I have done both).
