Goddess

This shoot has been a long time coming.

Karishma Kasabia, designer and founder of Khòlò the Label, Lei Lei Clavey, Melbourne photographer and myself, met up last week on a very cold Tuesday morning (6 degrees to be precise) to showcase and shoot Khòlò‘s stunning new Goddess in Lilies dresses.

The fashion industry is thought to be a competitive and superficial environment at times. I have to say I am so lucky to have never encountered this. If anything, I’ve made so many amazing friends over my 8 years of blogging and feel particularly lucky to have met both Karishma and Lei Lei on my journey.

Each of us with our own personalities, strengths and skills, we got together to create these images, that to me, show the professional relationships and friendships we have formed thanks to social media and our love of fashion.

Karishma is bubbly, energetic, and creative, bringing not only her incredible garments to the table but also her positive vibes. Lei Lei has such a calm aura, which makes you feel instantly comfortable and her attention to details makes her photography a sight to behold. Then there’s me… I’m there for the connections, the friendships, laughs and to create beautiful imagery that supports local business’ and I can share with you all.

The moments when I get to embrace these types of creative relationships and create beautiful content are the very reason why I love blogging so much.

And then there’s the dresses…

Karishma has designed such beautiful pieces in the The Goddess in Lilies dresses. Elegant, feminine and with the most divine couture hand beading, these dresses make you feel fabulous the moment you pop them on.

Karishma also designs for all women, regardless of body shape, size or colour. Her clothing is meant to be enjoyed by all, thus the Goddess in Lililes dress comes in either Night (navy) or Nude, and both midi and maxi lengths, not to mention also available in sizes 6-26.

So if you want to feel like a Goddess yourself head over to the Khòlò website and preorder one of these beauties before July 11th.

Regardless of colour or length, these dresses are unique and special pieces that you will treasure for years to come.
