Gloria

Hello friends! I hope you had a lovely long weekend safe at home. Grange and I stayed in and did lots of cooking, lounging and eating of chocolate and hot cross buns.

I’m back at work today and wanted to share one of my new favourite dresses to brighten up the week ahead.

This super special piece is by Kholo. If you follow Lilt Blog you will know I absolutely love their clothing and in particular their use of pattern and silhouettes.

The Gloria midi dress is the shirt dress of my dreams. In truth, I don’t usually buy shirt dresses for myself. Being curvy, I find shirt dresses can be a little frumpy or bulky looking on my figure, but the cut of this dress is completely different to any other, and it makes this style super comfortable and flattering too.

The smock like waistline and voluminous skirt means you have plenty of room to move (or pasta space as Karishma from Kholo calls it). The neckline can be done up completely if you want to pop a jumper over the top, or with a few buttons undone, which I find preferable and more flattering. Oh and it has POCKETS!

I also can’t skip past the incredible coral print design, which is a collaboration between Kholo and British textile designer Amelia Graham. Printed on 100% tencel the fabric is super soft, luxe, effortlessly comfortable and fun.

This dress is an absolute winner in my books and I can see myself wearing it for years to come styled for all seasons!

If you love this dress, please don’t forget to leave me a comment over on Instagram and follow Kholo for more beautiful inclusive design!

Stay well, safe and have a lovely week ahead x Luciana
