KHÒLÒ – ASRC Tote Collaboration

Fashion that does good is the best type of fashion!

If you hadn’t already heard the news during Refugee Week (which took place last month between the 16th-22nd June), you may have seen some snaps of KHÒLÒ’s gorgeous Melbourne designed totes pop up on your social media feeds.  But these beautiful bags are much more than pretty eye candy, they are also raising hope and funds for people in need.

One of my favourite Melbourne labels KHÒLÒ recently collaborated with 3 top Australian artists to create some bright & colourful bags, full of positivity.

Karishma Kasabia, owner and designer of KHÒLÒ invited artists  Laura BlythmanLily Zielinski & Lucy Hearn From Peaches + Keen , & Megan Weston to each design a tote which to them represented ‘hope and resilience’.  The result is 3 beautiful designs which have been printed and embroidered onto KHÒLÒ’s canvas tote bags.

ALL profits from every bag sold will go to The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), a not-for-profit organisation whose programs support and empower people seeking asylum, with funds helping to provide food, housing, healthcare and legal support to people who would otherwise be at risk of destitution.

They are also now available for purchase at theKHÒLÒ website. Which one will you choose?
