As a woman going through pregnancy, your body goes through an incredible transformation. The changes can be challenging or empowering, but definitely fascinating. One thing is for sure, there are big changes, and nothing really stays the same as ‘before’… it’s not really meant to.
During my pregnancies and journey into motherhood I’ve had to re-assess my style choices. Mostly for practicality and comfort, but also because my body has changed so much from month to month, year to year.
I’ve always been a fan of flowy dresses, that will be obvious to any one who follows Lilt Blog. But when I found out about Ever by X and ‘The One Dress Project’ I was genuinely so excited to work with them on styling their amazing dresses.
Founded by Kerryl Bullen, after she gave birth to twins, the concept is simple and genius! To offer women ONE dress, that can be styled in numerous ways and effortlessly elevate any occasion.
The beauty of this versatile and clever design is that it embraces the changes in a woman’s body and is designed to adapt as your life, needs & shape change ie: pregnancy, post natal & menopause.
With simple styling choices numerous silhouettes and ‘looks’ can be achieved, which make these dresses a seriously good investment for a versatile wardrobe.
Wether you’re headed to work, out for the weekend, off travelling, holidaying by the beach, or celebrating a special occasion, this dress has you covered.
Over the next few months… and as my body evolves and changes yet again, I’ll be teaming up with Ever by X to style their beautiful and luxurious dresses in many different ways. So stay tuned….
Today I’ve opted for “The Sheath”, which creates a beautiful grecian waterfall effect along the front of the dress for chic drama and texture. This is the ideal style for a cocktail event or night out with girlfriends, but I’ve gone a little step further and chosen to style with some winter accessories to create a more relaxed and casual look that could also be worn during the day.
I am wearing the beautiful colour ‘Evergreen’, but ‘The One Dress Project’ Dress is available in classic black and an array of seasonal colours so you are bound to find the perfect pick for you.
