I’ve made it a goal this week to dress up for work each day even though I’m working from home during the stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne.
It’s particularly easy this week as I am hosting a bunch of presentations on zoom every day and want to look professional, but the goal is really to make an effort each day (even if small) to keep some routine going in day to day life.
Popping on some nice clothes and a bit of make up every morning is by no means necessary. It may not be that important to most people, but to me it helps me feel ready for the day ahead and differentiates my weekdays to my much more casual weekends.
Today I’m featuring another beautiful and easy to wear style by Montaigne.
The ‘European Linen Baggy Dress’ is made from the softest European linen and has a lovely drape. It comes in a ‘one size fits all’ and the billowing silhouette means it’s comfortable and flattering for all body shapes and sizes. It’s such a great Tran-seasonal piece and is available in a number of gorgeous colours.
I’ve opted for the ‘Forest Green’ as I’m currently obsessed with all shades of green in my wardrobe, and teamed it up with the Elk ‘Kamille’ statement necklace to dress it up. Such simple styling.
I’d love to know what your rituals and routines look like during lockdown. Are you doing anything in particular to differentiate your days? Let me know in the comments.
