It was so lovely to finally share yesterday’s surprise news with you all, and as a follow up, I also wanted to highlight the beautiful Megan Park outfit that I was wearing in the announcement post.

No surprises that I am a huge Megan Park fan, I feature her beautiful clothing on Lilt blog frequently, and today I got the chance to style some of the new pieces from the AW 2020 collection.

For me winter is all about layers, and being a lover of dresses this means accessorising with tights, scarves and cocooning myself in a comfy and warm coat.

Today’s outfit all stemmed from the feminine Sigrid dress. It’s made from a luxurious, mid-weight silk fabric, and features a bold and elegant floral silhouette print. I of course love the pattern and colour, but also the shape and cut of the dress, which has an adjustable drawstring waist band with ties on either side of the body, allowing for a shapley or loose fit (perfect for my growing bump).

The matching Sigrid Wool Scarf, seemed like the perfect addition to this outfit but it would also add a splash of colour and fun to any winter outfit. It’s lightweight and soft, but most importantly super warm, and just the right size (big) to wrap yourself up in.

No winter outfit is truly complete without a warm and cosy coat, and the Two Tone Coat is a truly unique and stunning piece that really finishes this look. The classic Megan Park style is made with a mid-heavy wool fabric and has a cocoon shape with short sleeves making this piece great for layering over knits and dresses during the cooler months, and allowing the garments underneath to also shine. However what I truly love about the design is the hidden magnetic closures down the front of the coat which make it sit seamlessly and comfortably over any outfit.

If I have to put up with winter, at least I can do it in style!
