Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with a little follow up to my style post from last Friday, and featuring the exquisite Ivy dress from Milk & Thistle.
Ok… textile nerd hat is coming on for a minute…
This dress is made with 100% linen fabric which happens to be one of my favourite fibres. Not only does linen feel and look luxurious, but it is one of the most sustainable fibres around. It is also natural, breathable and biodegradable. So many pros!
The Ivy dress is made locally in Melbourne with high quality linen, in a relaxed an oversized style that could be easily worn day-to-day. However, it’s the flowing tiered layers of light linen georgette that make it truly special. In other words this dress is super versatile and can easily be dressed up or down for any occasion.
I’ve chosen to style it casually today, with a denim jacket, my chic and classic Radical Yes loafers, trusty hemp shopping tote by Eco-Tote & of course some statement earrings by local fave Aacute.
However, this dress could easily be taken up a notch, belted with heels and statement clutch & necklace for a night out.
Versatile silhouette, fabrication and in a timeless style that will work all year round, from winter, into spring and beyond… and better yet, it’s now on sale!
You can purchase the Ivy dress on the Milk & Thistle website. And if you’d like to check out my interview with designer Danielle from a few years ago, please click here.
