As you may have learned in the latest #liltblogbacktobasics post, I recently arrived back home after a one week holiday to Queenstown, New Zealand, with my fiancé Grange, and our good friends Sheena and Thomas, from food and travel blog Chasing a Plate.
I haven’t been on a personal overseas trip for a few years now, so this holiday was an absolute treat. Grange and I were also truly spoilt by the fact that Sheena and Thomas had both visited Queenstown many times before, and were kind enough to show us around all the best spots.
Although the primary reason for visiting Queenstown was skiing, we made the most of our short stay and participated in many activities, from ensuring we scoffed down a famous Fergburger on the first night, to long lunches sipping on Pinot Noir at Amisfield, and exploring the amazing New Zealand landscape. We even visited Paradise…..yep there is an actual place called Paradise, and it absolutely lives up to its name.
Over the next few days I will be posting some photos of our adventures. I feel extremely lucky to have been able to visit such a beautiful place on earth, and even more grateful that I got to make some wonderful memories with great friends.
I hope that you enjoy the photos and that they inspire you to possibly visit Queenstown one day. If you ever get the chance, you won’t regret it.
