You may have seen in recent photos on my Instagram feed , that I’ve recently returned from a holiday in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Queenstown is such a special part of the world. The views are so epic and spectacular that it seemed a terrible waste not to take advantage of the beautiful backdrop and do a little impromptu shoot at the top of the Crown Range.
This outfit was not really planned to be photographed, but it is more or less the type of clothes I wore throughout my whole trip. Comfy pants and boots, warm flannelette shirts and my trusty new Búl Coat.
A flannelette shirt has been on my shopping list for a while. I don’t usually wear many shirts, but I’ve recently started to add a few more into my staple wardrobe. This Uniqlo shirt was such a great bargain and I love the fact that it is a little bit different to your usual flanny with the addition of a floral print on top of a predictable plaid. I just couldn’t resist.
I’ll be posting some photos from our trip next week, but in the meanwhile I’d love to know, What are your must have items to wear when travelling?
