This past Friday nigh, feeling a bit run down and completely exhausted from a busy week at work I put myself to bed before 8pm and decided to watch a documentary which I have been meaning to see for a very long time.
L’amour Fou is a film on the life of Yves Saint Laurent as told by his lover and business partner Pierre Berge. A great insight into their life together, Berge discusses the beginning of their relationship when Yves saint Laurent was Creative Director at Christian Dior, the birth of the YSL empire, their travels to Marrakech, depression, passion and allows a view into the sale of their incredible Art collection.
Definitely worth a watch.
