Aura

I just love wearing colour. I find that when I pop on bright colours through my clothing it instantly lifts my mood.

I also love the psychology behind colour. As a textile designer I’m extremely interested in the way that colour affects us. Both in our surroundings and when we wear it.

Artist Profile – Olana Janfa

Olana Janfa seems to be everywhere I turn, his artworks calls out to me as I wait for a coffee at a cafe in Collingwood, I see his colourful prints on dresses displayed in a window of a clothing shop in northcote, and it even adorns the basketball court and playground areas at the Atherton Gardens housing estate in Fitzroy.

For a man who had never picked up a paintbrush until 2018 (not even in primary school) Olana Janfa has certainly made a name for himself in the Melbourne creative scene.

Four

Last week my little family and I took some time to take photos with the lovely Nina Cavicchiolo. I love capturing these special moments, a freeze frame of this time in our lives with a newborn and toddler. Time that I know will fly by so quickly.

Rue

I’ve never before owned loungewear that has made me feel as glamorous as the Rue Set from The Lullaby Club.

Made from 100% knitted cotton, this set is seriously comfy with a super soft fabrication and a polished look that makes me feel like I have my shit together when I’m wearing it around the house.

Ava

Being in the newborn bubble can sometimes mean countless days of wearing trackies and milk stained tops. It’s easy to to fall into a fashion rut because comfort and practicality do become the central focus. And rightly so, there’s important work to be done.

For this reason I’ve set myself a goal of dressing up ever so slightly at least every other day, even if I’ll just be pottering around the house. Because I love fashion and I’ve noticed that when I personally put in that little bit of extra effort I feel better about myself and ready to tackle the world.

Blogger Profile – Jazz Bell

Having started her professional career as a model at a young age, Jazz Bell is no stranger to the camera, and the camera certainly loves her.

Her incredible beauty, amazing curly hair and relatable looks have made her a recognisable face in the Australian fashion arena.

But Jazz is definitely more than just a pretty face, currently juggling a variety of creative and exciting careers in producing, acting, content creation, consulting, blogging and singing.
