It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to one’s own style. That’s precisely one of the reasons why I love working together with brands to feature their upcoming collections. Sometimes I get to try things I may not normally have otherwise.

I have to admit however, that when the Elk team suggested I try their new Celicie jumpsuit, I hesitated… ‘I don’t normally wear jumpsuits’ I said to them.

I always try to stay open minded when it comes to style through. My motto has always been ‘Try things on! You’ll never know when you’ll be pleasantly surprised’, and I have to say I was definitely surprised and pretty chuffed when I popped on the Celicie jumpsuit.

Made from organic cotton with a classic broderie anglaise finish, the Celicie Jumpsuit is a contemporary, considered style that is equal amounts stylish and flattering. It features a gathered waist and a wide leg, which make the style extremely comfortable. And the handy side pockets and cotton lining make it practical and chic.

I of course love the fabric which is a stand out feature of the garment itself. The broderie anglaise lace is a gorgeous texture and the olive colour is timeless and versatile. (It also comes in black)

I’m so glad I ventured out of my comfort zone with this jumpsuit. It’s chic, comfortable and a piece that I’ll enjoy for years to come.
