Frit

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s interview with designer Eve Walton-Healey of Ricepaper The Label. Today I am featuring their stunning Frit Dress which I really cannot wait to wear out and about.

This beautiful dress is the perfect mix of texture, print and colour. Made with a textured 100% cotton fabric, it also features a small scale print which results in a woven like effect which I really love.

In these images I still have my baby bump present, so the dress fits a little more snuggly, however the Frit dress is more of a loose style that is cinched in at the waist with a beautiful elastic detail (I’ve added a belt to accentuate this)

I’ve paired the dress with my new Cherrichella stacked heels, handbag by one of my favourite bag labels Avalina Leather and earrings by Pink Nade.

This dress would be a great addition to anyone’s work wardrobe when paired with some heels, but also equally lovely to wear on the weekend with some flat sandals or sneakers for a more casual look.

Another bonus? This dress was not only designed here in Melbourne, but thanks to Ricepaper The Label’s transparency model, we also know it was made in Heidelberg West by one of the label’s maker Vanessa.

Vanessa plays a huge role in the pattern development and making of majority of our garments. We have been working with Vanessa for just over a year now and have developed more than 30 styles with her that we aim to keep as part of our collections for many years”. – Says Eve

So if you want to look stylish from work to play and support local business, this dress is the one for you!
