Night-Time Rituals with Jurlique

Around Christmas time, when I was in my late teens and ready to start taking my skin care beyond the point of supermarket cleansers and pimple cream, I asked Santa to bring me a very grown up and luxurious gift-pack of Jurlique skin care.

It was my first love affair with a beauty brand , and I fell hard for their elegant packaging, natural ingredients and feminine floral scents.

Now I am well into my thirties and although I have tried many different skin care brands over the years, Jurlique is still one of my absolute favourites and always present in my beauty cabinet.

As I grow older the importance of a good skin care routine has become even more apparent. Over the past year, I’ve worked on being more strict with my regime. This means no more sleeping with make up on (which I’ve been guilty of in the past), and making sure I am cleansing, toning and moisturising, especially at night, to give my skin the chance to recover and regenerate.

Jurlique, recently sent me some products to try, including the cult classic Rosewater Balancing Mist, a Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum, and Herbal Recovery Night Cream.

The Rosewater Balancing Mist is an old favourite of mine, and most people who have been introduced to Jurlique, have at one time or another tried this baby out. It is the most divine smelling hydrating mist and not only can it be used daily to prep skin prior to moisturising, but it is great to give your face a refresh during the day. I often take it with me when travelling or flying and highly recommend it to anyone on the market for a luxurious spritz.

A serum, has been something I have been wanting to try for a while. Now that wrinkles have started to appear on my thirty-something year old face, (thanks to my many years of laughter), I am wanting to treat my skin with products that will help reduce the appearance of fine lines & improve elasticity. The Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum is working wonders so far, and I have already seen the difference it is making in helping my skin look more radiant every day.

If I am honest I have not ever used a night cream. I’ve always just used my daily moisturiser at night (is that bad?). But over the past year my skin has become much more sensitive and dry, and with the inevitable ageing process I have been on the look out for a night cream that is rich enough so that I can wake up every morning  feeling hydrated, smooth, radiant and ready for the day ahead. The Herbal Recovery Night Cream does all this with powerful botanical extracts. It is so luxuriously smooth to apply and also has the signature floral Jurlique scent that I adore. So many ticks!

I am so glad to be reunited with Jurlique in my day-to-day routine, and their use of natural ingredients and commitment to sustainable and ethical skin care ensure that it is a love affair for may years to come.

  1. I used Jurlique years ago and loved it. I have been considering going back to using their products and I think you may have convinced me!

  2. I’ve only ever used Jurlique when it’s been in the bathrooms of friends so houses I’ve visited!!
I’m right now tossing up between Jurlique and Aesop, but this is definitely swaying me in Jurliques direction

    1. I’m loving my Jurlique products!
I was actually using Aesop before my switch to Jurlique.
Don’t get me wrong I love Aesop products, but I feel like my skin has changed a lot this year and I needed something different.
Jurlique is definitely doing a great job at fixing up my skin.
