Chambray Dresses and Straw Hats

LILT BLOG BACK TO BASICS 02lilt-blog-straw-hats-08

Today is my first day back at work for 2017.  I wish I could say I was ready to throw myself back into the daily grind, but the reality is that I could’ve easily taken an extra week to enjoy the perfect sunshine we have been experiencing in Melbourne.

Now that summer has truly arrived I want to spend my days in chambray dresses and straw hats. It’s the perfect combo for hot, sunny days.

This Seed dress is made from tencel so it is super soft, lightweight and easy to wear. Plus it pairs perfectly with cute straw hats for a casual day, out and about.

I have a feeling this will be my weekend uniform for the months ahead.

  1. Your photos are stunning! I also need that hat in my life when I return home to Brisbane ☺ x Jade

  2. This look is so adorable! I have one of those hats and am now inspired to try and start wearing it again — I’ve been chickening out for the last few years >.<

  3. This is something I would love to wear as my daily uniform! Oh and I long for Spring and Summer to hurry up and get here in the U.S. Love your lipstick! What color is it?
