When searching for a wedding dress I really didn’t have to think too hard about it. I pretty much knew it would probably end up being a dress by one of my favourite Australian labels, Lover.
I knew I wanted to wear a white dress, but I didn’t want anything that was too pouffy, overly “bridal”, or fussy, so Lover’s Whitel Magik collection seemed a perfect fit.
Each year Lover releases some of their most popular styles in beautiful clean white and sells them exclusively through their flagship store in The Strand Arcade, Sydney. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to visit the Sydney store, but instead chose to purchase my wedding dress online.
The customer service that the Lover team provided has been one of the best I’ve ever experienced (especially for an online purchase), and when the box finally arrived with my beautiful Orchid dress inside, I was filled with utter excitement.
The dress itself was a perfect example of the Lover’s delicate, feminine and lacy aesthetic.
Of course it goes without saying it is the most spectacular dress I have ever worn and I felt absolutely special in it.
