As a Textile Designer, my heart is skipping a few beats at the thought of ThreeASFOUR’s Spring Summer 2014 collection. Shown as a part of NYFW last week, the collection is a beautiful concoction of pattern, sculpture, layering, depth, light and shadow.
The guys at ThreeASFOUR are a multicultural bunch, and looked to their cultural and religious backgrounds for their inspiration in this collection. Taking geometric shapes evident in mosques, churches and synagogues as their motif direction, the garments were produced with the aid of traditional printing, laser cutting and resin sculptures.
A nice mix of pushing the boundaries & providing wearable fashion .Number 3 is the winner for me!
